Last week was our last week of camp for the summer! We can't believe how fast the summer passed by!
Everyone enjoyed each day to the fullest and we saw big smiles all week long. Our biggest highlight was the vehicle visit. It was a wonderful way to end the week and the summer. Everyone had a blast sitting in the firetrucks and learning about what it's like to be a fire-fighter from the wonderful firefighters who came to visit. As we wrap up camp this year, we look back on all the great memories with a smile. We had so much fun with each and every camper that passed through our site this summer. We hope to see everyone again next year and are already counting down to Summer Camp 2018!! Big shout-out to all our Ben James staff, volunteers, campers, parents/guardians, and members of the community for being so amazing this summer!! We could not have done it without you all! Have a great year, and we hope to see you next summer! :) Elizabeth PS: Check out our instagram! @autismns_programs :) We will keep updating it throughout the year as programs run.

Where has the summer gone?? Our Fourth camp has already arrived!
Week 1 has been full of fun outings, adventures, and music. As always, Little Rays Reptiles did not disappoint! Our campers had a great time meeting and petting their new scaly friends. We have had so much fun this week and can't wait to see what week 2 brings. Next week is the last week of summer camp, but we're sure it will be a blast! Elizabeth PS: Don't forget to check out our instagram @autismns_programs Last days of camp are always bittersweet. As our third camp comes to an end, we look back on what an awesome week we had with all our campers!
This week, we went bowling and everyone had so much fun! We got to spend a lot of time outside at the Chocolate Lake and making new friends. We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Elizabeth PS: Follow us on instagram @autismns_programs As the long weekend arrives and Week 1 of our Third Camp comes to an end, we find ourselves smiling at all the wonderful memories we made this week. All campers, staff, and volunteers had such a great time.
There were some beautiful sunny days that allowed us to spend some time outdoors. We went on a Nature Hike through the trails and decorated the sidewalk with colourful chalk drawings. Our week ended on a high note as we had a fantastic trip to the Discovery Centre! We hope everyone has a great long weekend and we can't wait to see you on Tuesday for week 2! Elizabeth PS: Don't forget to follow us on instagram @autismns_programs :) We were so sad for Camp 2 to end last Friday, but everyone had so much fun! We saw so many friendships blossoming between campers, and many vowed to continue hanging out outside of camp! We love to see friendships grow and are so happy to see our campers getting the most they can out of their summer camp experience!!
This week we went to Hop, Skip, Jump, and splish-splashed the day away at the Splash Pad. There were so many laughs to be had as we played group games like Apples to Apples, and had fun with our friends at Chocolate Lake. We sure will miss everyone!! Stay tuned for an update about Camp 3 at the end of the week. Elizabeth PS: Don't forget to check out our instagram @autismns_programs :) |
