Last Saturday, during the third week of the Autism Arts program, we celebrated Halloween and it was so much fun.
In the spirit of Halloween, the participants made hanging spider webs out of old coat hangers and yarn and enjoyed filling their webs with all sorts of spooky things including bats, spiders and creepy black feathers. We also had a lot of conversation about Halloween costumes and how everyone planned to celebrate their night. At the end of the session, participants also had time to add some images to the skies of their dioramas. The dioramas are a project we are working on little by little each week, so stay tuned for the unveiling of the dioramas at the end of the program. |
